This is Nick Whetstones fantastic site. I recommned this to anyone who wishes to get started in HiFi building. The Gainclone section especially is a fantastic resource for advice on building your first "Gainclone" amplifier.

The site is aimed at a beginner with excellent explanations and practical projects

Pedja Rogic now designs and sells commercial HiFi Gear, however his gifts to the DIY comunity include DAC, Power supply, Gainclone, Volume controls and Buffer schematics.

I designed my own PCB version of his Jfet buffer and had it manufactured. Details and photo's are included in this website.

One is mods to the Sonic Impact Tripath Amp

Two is some mods to a Emu404, a popular USB soundcard, used by home musicians and often with measurement tools such as speakerworkshop.

For fans of Triath Amps, a site with a few mods, and quite a few measurements of the Sonic Tamp, Trends Audio and others. Worth a visit if your into Tripath based amps.
