I receieved a press release today from Wolfson regarding their WM8740 DAC. Pioneer have adopted it for their high end Blu Ray player.
Wolfson Microelectronics (LSE:WLF.L) announces that its WM8740 high performance stereo DAC has been selected by Pioneer Electronics for use in its latest Blu-ray home theatre disc player.

What i thought was interesting about the uptake is that this DAC already appears in DAC Kits that the DIYer has access to at reasonable prices.
